Definition
Helper T lymphocyte (Th) in mice producing interleukins IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IL-9, IL-10, and IL-13.

Note
Besides other effects, they provide optimal help for antibody responses. Th2 responses should also be regarded as an important downregulatory mechanism for exaggerated Th1 responses. Predominant Th2 cytokine profile is observed in patients with atopic disorders and graft-versus-host disease (GVHD).
